It has been over 7 years since we last seen the Joker on screen. The arch nemesis of Batman was last seen on The Dark Knight in 2008. Portrayed by the late Heath Ledger back in 2008 the Joker have never appeared again since the movie. Although few  years later in 2012 the Dark Night Rises was launched still there was no trace of Joker, it seems the Joker just vanished the moment Heath Ledger passed away.

But shocking news came when David Ayer decided to create Suicide Squad the movie which is adapted from the famous comic book series published by DC. In addition to the news, Joker will be joining the Suicide Squad. Surely fans of DC are delighted that their famous villain will once again appear in the cinema next year to be precise.

At first the fans and also movie addicts keeps on guessing who will carry Heath Ledger’s legacy and be the next Joker. Then it was announced Jared Leto will be filling in the position. Jared Leto was already known by worldwide movie addicts for his acting capabilities, his famous roles were as Paul Allen in the psychological thriller American Psycho, Mark David Chapman in Chapter 27,  as a heroin addict Harry Goldfarb in Requiem for A Dream, and the most recent one was acting alongside Mathew Mcconaughey in Dallas Buyers Club in 2013 which earned him an Academy Award also a Golden Globe Award. Fans should be relieved that the role of Joker now in such good hands like him.

Now let’s just see does Jared Leto have what it takes to be the next Gotham’s Clown Prince of Crime.

HEATH LEDGER: THE UNFORGETTABLE JOKER

The Dark Knight (2008)starting Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, Michael Caine, Aaron Eckhart,Morgan Freeman, Maggie Gyllenhaal was another sequel from Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins in 2005. A movie that was based on DC’s famous superhero Batman.The Dark Knight was released on July 14th 2008 with the world premiere in New York City.  It is indeed one of the most successful Batman movie franchise.

Aside from the thrilling story with many plot twists surely our attention were held by the amazing casts of this movie from the great Michael Caine to the late Heath Ledger all of those main casts were not inexperienced actors and actress. But one name we will never forget for his unforgettable performance in the movie, he is Heath Ledger.

Portraying the Joker who is one of Batman’s arch enemy he gave an amazing performance that landed him Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor, the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor, Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Supporting Actor, and the BAFTA Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Supporting Role. His acting have brought Joker himself into a more psychotic, crazy,schizophrenic clown with no empathy whatsoever. In order to prepare for this role Heath Ledger lived alone in a hotel room for a month, formulating the character’s posture, voice, and personality, and kept a diary which was very controversial and connected to his untimely death.

Heath Ledger has successfully made a new form of Joker one that is different from Jack Nicholson’s Joker, this is why his acting was widely appreciated. Although he had died Heath Ledger gave something to remember him for, his acting will, his achievement will always be an example for other actors.

FOO FIGHTER'S NEW ALBUM

Foo Fighter’s 8th studio album will be released this November another great news for the fans since it’s recording began in September 2013 this album will become a sensation just like their albums before such as Wasting Lights in 2011, In Your Honor in 2005, and many more. Dave Grohl as a lead singer back in an interview in 2013 said that ”  I think next year is going to be a really big year for the Foo Fighters, without question”. No doubt the fans will anticipate this next album with heads held high. 

The rock band that was formed back in 1994 in Seattle now consists Dave Grohl as the lead singer and guitarist, Pat Smear in guitar also, Chris Schiflett as lead guitarist and backing vocals, Nate Mendel as bassist, and Taylor Hawkins as drummer, have named their eighth album Sonic Highway

As stated above they began working on Sonic Highway from September 2013 in various studios in many cities, from Virginia, Texas, New Orleans, Seattle,California, Chicago and lastly New York City. Another news regarding this album is each track features contributions from one or more musicians with ties to that city’s musical history that is why the recording of this album was done in many cities so Grohl is able to interview with the musician that is featured in Sonic Highway. Now all we gotta do is to be patient and wait for this album to be released.
